Welcome Palmetto Senior High School Alumni! We welcome you to the ‘official’ Miami Palmetto Senior High School Alumni Association website. The school is located at 7431 S.W. 120 Street in Pinecrest, Florida 33156. We appreciate your interest and support. We hope you will find this website a valuable resource for all alumni programs and events.

A special thank you to the graduating classes of 1961 and 1970 for sponsoring and underwriting costs associated with website development.

Did that student who sat next to you in math class go on to do great things in the world? Did a fantastic teacher change your life? Every five years, the Miami-Palmetto Senior High Alumni Association seeks nominees to its Hall of Fame, which honors former students who have made their mark, as well as memorable Palmetto faculty.

Also present to distribute the scholarships were Palmetto alumni Harry Nerenberg, Lisa Mallard, and Pam Schlachtman.

Every year the Alumni Association distributes scholarships to very well-deserving high school seniors. YOUR membership dues contribute to this fund.

We would like to also thank Rachel Stubins Wexler who created the “Harry Nerenberg” scholarship for a 5-year period, the students of Tutoring for Tomorrow who have donated monies to allow more scholarships for the past three years, as well as the founding scholarship donors from the Class of ’61 Reunion Committee and ongoing donors Pamela Garrison, Dr Joel Schenkman, Blair Retchin and Abe Ng.
